THE IGNITE SALES DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM 

This program provides world-class education focused on commercial HVAC equipment, building solutions, and sales methodologies, processes, and techniques. The education you will receive is a perfect mix of digital and hands-on, blending all learning styles to meet the needs of each participant. It also gives you real-world experience on your journey to becoming an HVAC solutions salesperson. You will be involved in the entire sales process,  gaining invaluable experience selling our solutions over 12 months. You and your cohort will have opportunities to share your experience, creating lasting connections as you become a master in Daikin’s business solutions.

 

THE GRADUATE ENGINEERS TRANSFORMED (GET) PROGRAM

The GET program is a 6-month immersive learning experience designed specifically for new graduate sales engineers within our rep partner network. This program aims to equip them with foundational HVAC knowledge and hands-on experience, expand their professional network, and boost their industry credibility. Through a blended learning approach that combines online modules with valuable in-person visits to our factories and installation sites, the GET program offers an unparalleled opportunity for new sales engineers to quickly gain expertise in our products, systems, applications, and real-world scenarios.

ENGINEERING CO-OP INTERNSHIPS

Our engineering co-op internships offer students the chance to dive into real-world engineering challenges. In each rotation, the student will typically work on 1 large capstone project as well as smaller supporting engineering projects that will directly support Daikin Applied’s operations. Some rotations may be structured with multiple projects that are more reflective of a fast-paced and rapidly changing role (product engineering, warranty, etc.). Co-op students will have the opportunity to review the available engineering projects and force rank their choices prior to starting each rotation. Students will work on projects across a variety of engineering areas, gaining valuable experience.

SUMMER INTERNSHIPS

Our summer internship program is built upon three core pillars: Mentorship, Community, and Development, all designed to ensure a well-rounded and impactful experience.

MENTORSHIP:
Each Intern is paired with a full-time employee from their team as a resource. We outline our mentor/intern relationship to prioritize your goals, capitalize on your education, and provide clear insight into the Daikin employee experience.

COMMUNITY: Our program uses social, volunteer, and learning events to connect our interns with one another and Daikin leadership. Our interns are fully immersed in our organization.

DEVELOPMENT: Throughout your internship, we work within your interests to assign projects that will enhance, grow, and challenge your current skillset. We use goal-setting and development activities to ensure you are on the path to meeting (and even exceeding!) your goals.
